Porsche unveiles three World Premieres at Motor Shows in Los Angeles, Tokyo and Guangzhou

The next weeks are pretty busy for Porsche as they are unveiling three World Premieres at the Motor Shows in Los Angeles, Tokyo and Guangzhou.

From November 20, Porsche will unveil a total of three new models at Motor Shows in Los Angeles (USA), Tokyo (Japan) and Guangzhou (China). The highlight of this cavalcade of trade fair appearances will be the global unveiling of the new Porsche Macan at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which brings Porsche performance to a completely new segment of the market. The world premiere of the Macan signals the official start of communications for this exciting new member of the Porsche family.

"Fiat 500 .. Motorboat ..., ah."
Earlier today when I was walking I checked my Mails and just read them quickly, I read something about a Fiat 500 and a Motorboat. Well, it's maybe something like the Cigarette Racing and Mercedes-Benz AMG - a Technology/Design-Cooperation.

When I just came home I read the E-Mail again, on my Notebook this time, and I couldn't belive my eyes when I checked out the Pictures .. "no way, no way, no way" everytime I've seen another Picture. But what are these SWIMMING FIAT 500 all about??!?!?


Well, in America there is currently the U.S. Surfing Champrionship taking place in Sunny California. And as the Fiat 500 is currently the best selling car in its class they thought that they have to do something special - and I bet most of the viewers couldnt belive their eyes when they first saw the swimming Fiat 500 on the edge of the bay in Huntington Beach. But no, its no animation or hollogramm, the Fiat 500 are REALLY swimming.

The clue about the fast driving 500's is that they are modified jetskis! Four in total were blowing the viewers minds away - and mine. Besides two normal Fiat 500 there is also a Fiat 500C and a Fiat 500C Abarth 500. A Fiat 500L will be added to the water-fleet soon. Fiat says in the Press Release that "Visitors to the surfing championships have witnessed a spectacular promotion of Fiat North America".

Unfortunately, a serial production of the Fiat 500 jetskis is not planned...

The all-new 2014 Kia Soul urban crossover will make its European debut at the 65th Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) in Frankfurt on 10 September, before going on sale across Europe early next year.

Inspired by the 2012 Kia Track’ster concept, the 2014 Soul introduces a thoroughly fresh, more grown-up appearance, whilst still instantly recognisable as a Soul.

The new vehicle – shown in European specification for the first time – echoes the outgoing model’s upright stance, squared shoulders, wraparound greenhouse, high-mounted tail lights and confidence-inspiring SUV ride height. The new Soul also features an all-new interior, with higher quality materials and a more driver-focused design.

When the car goes on sale in 2014, buyers will also be able to choose between three different roof colours – black, white and red – as well as up to 11 exterior paint finishes.

The pair of new Kia Souls displayed on the Kia stand at IAA Frankfurt will also exhibit a new SUV Styling Pack, featuring piano black bumper trim, side skirts, wheel arches and a black painted roof. The new range of Soul accessory kits are designed to enable owners to fully enjoy and exploit the versatility of this unique compact SUV.

The biggest technical change for the 2014 Soul is the adoption of an all-new platform, based on that of the latest Kia cee’d. The result is greatly improved ride and handling compared with the outgoing model, as well as more mature and refined on-road behaviour. The second-generation Soul will also be the best in its class for refinement, a result of the car’s upgraded suspension, 29 per cent stiffer bodyshell and comprehensive soundproofing. Interior noise levels are reduced by approximately three decibels.

The 2014 Kia Soul will feature premium features (depending on model), including: front LED daytime running lights and rear LED ‘halo’ lights, xenon headlights, keyless entry and push-button engine start, automatic climate control, cruise control, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, heated front and rear seats, panoramic glass sunroof and heated and electrically folding exterior mirrors.

The redesigned 2014 Lexus GX 460 luxury utility vehicle (LUV) will be offered in two grades when it arrives at dealerships beginning in September, in the US. The standard GX will carry a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $49,085, $4,710 or nearly nine percent less than the previous year; while the Luxury model which will be priced at $60,715. The MSRP does not include a delivery, processing and handling fee of $910.

The Volkswagen Kombi Last Edtion will be limited to 600 units only and celebrates 56 Years of Prodution but also the end of the Volkswagen T2 Production. Every of the 600 units will feature a numbered identification plaque on the dashborad.
